A survey study on the Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) knowledge levels and attitudes of the consumers

This research was conducted in the form of a survey study to determine knowledge levels and attitudes consumers towards genetically modified organism (GMO). The carried out 4-month period between September December 2022. As data collection tool research, questions were asked level GMO products. findings revealed that participants aware products majority them thought foods harmful. result obtained, it is understood have some misconceptions about important awareness trainings are needed eliminate these misconceptions. In other words, has been confuse issues such as GMO, pesticide antibiotic residue from hormone application, they wrong information or prejudice on subject. Another issue will face future somehow need be informed features offered for sale market.
